DRX9000® – Non-surgical Spinal Decompression

What is non-surgical spinal decompression?

Like spinal traction, the spine will be gently elongated at a set time, weight and angle.  Non-surgical spinal decompression is a conservative approach to treat many different disorders that affect the spine.   It utilizes a treatment table, different harnesses and a pully system to alleviate nerve compression.  A decompression table applies equal amount of pressure on the vertebrate columns, stretches the spine, creating increased space between the vertebrae, and improving the flow of nutrients through the discs.  The injuries heal slowly and steadily after regular decompression treatment sessions.

What conditions does non-surgical decompression treat?

Dr. Le or Dr. Morris would complete a full physical examination to confirm a final diagnosis regarding your symptoms and condition to determine the best approach for spinal decompression.

Is the Non-surgical spinal decompression FDA approved?

The DRX9000® spinal decompression machine has been cleared by the FDA to treat herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and posterior facet syndrome. The DRX9000® is the only system available in its field to utilize a servo motor; in doing so, the DRX9000® contains nested closed-loop feedback that ensures that the therapy stays true to each patient’s logarithmic spinal decompression treatment.  Meaning, the computer adjust to the body, it also oscillates the weight on the spine, very slightly.  Gently increasing and decreasing the weight to the desired level, creating a desired effect on the spine and the disc.

The treatment settings on the DRX9000® are determined by Dr. Le or Dr. Morris after a thorough examination and treatment plan are developed over a course of 3-4 days.
