Sciatica & herniated disc relief - without surgery
Pain that shoots down your leg can stop you in your tracks. We find the source, take pressure off the nerve, and build a plan to keep it from coming back.
Common signs of a disc or sciatic nerve problem
- Sharp, burning or electric pain down the back of the leg
- Pain that's worse when sitting, bending or coughing
- Numbness, tingling or weakness in the leg or foot
- Low back pain that comes and goes, then flares
- An MRI that shows a bulge, protrusion or herniation
What causes sciatica?
Sciatica is pain that follows the sciatic nerve from the low back or buttock down the leg. The most common cause is a bulging or herniated disc pressing on a nerve root, but spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis and tight muscles can all play a part.
The type of pain - sharp, burning, electric, numb - and exactly where it travels tell us a lot. Your imaging tells us the rest.
Why many people avoid surgery
Surgery has its place, but many disc problems respond to care that relieves pressure on the nerve and restores healthy movement. Our goal is to get you moving with less pain - without injections or opioids.
