How it works

Taking pressure off discs and nerves

During decompression, the DRX9000 gently and gradually lengthens the spine at the level that needs it. This can reduce pressure inside the disc and around the nerves, which may help relieve pain and support healing.

Because the force rises and falls in controlled cycles, your muscles can stay relaxed - so the decompression reaches the spine instead of fighting tight muscles.

  • You stay fully clothed and comfortable
  • Sessions are typically about 20-30 minutes on the table
  • Most people find it relaxing

Who it can help

Conditions we treat with decompression

Spinal stenosis

Leg pain and heaviness when walking.

Herniated & bulging discs

Disc material pressing on a nerve.

Sciatica

Nerve pain running down the leg.

Degenerative discs

Worn, thinning discs and stiffness.

The difference

Why decompression alone often isn't enough

A table can take pressure off a disc. But the joints, muscles and movement habits around that disc decide whether the relief lasts. That's why every decompression plan here includes:

A real diagnosis first

Exam, testing and a detailed imaging review before any treatment is recommended.

Hands-on care

Adjustments and soft-tissue work to restore movement and calm tight, guarding muscles.

A home program

Specific exercises and habits so you keep improving between visits - and after.

Patient stories

“I had been offered only epidurals or surgery”

★★★★★
“Dr. Le took over an hour going over my MRI and X-rays to show and explain to me exactly why I was having this pain. It was the first time a doctor had actually taken the time to show me my test results and explain them clearly. I had been offered only epidurals or surgery…”

Questions

Spinal decompression FAQ

What does spinal decompression feel like?
Most people find it relaxing. You lie comfortably, fully clothed, while the table applies a gentle, gradual pull and release. The force is computer-controlled and adjusted to you.
How is the DRX9000 different from regular traction?
The DRX9000 is computer-guided. It ramps the pulling force up and down in cycles and adjusts to your body's response, which helps your muscles stay relaxed instead of guarding against the pull.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your diagnosis and goals. We don't sell a one-size-fits-all bundle - Dr. Le recommends a specific plan after your evaluation, and explains the costs before you begin.
Who is not a candidate for decompression?
Some conditions - such as certain fractures, spinal implants, severe osteoporosis, tumors, or pregnancy - may rule it out. Your exam checks for these.
Do you combine decompression with other care?
Yes. Decompression is usually combined with hands-on care, focused shockwave when appropriate, and a home exercise program. That combination is the heart of our approach.
